Sunday's mornings ride to The Broomwagon was a new route for the club, thanks Andy Clarkson for planning the route.

Better than expected weather greeted us and having most of the Andy Moore Autocentres racing team out for an 'easy' spin made it fast to the Broomwagon. The route took us out to Langold, Tickhill, Harworth, Scrooby Top, towards Drakeholes, Clayworth, Clarborough and onto Retford and The Broomwagon for cake and a drink.

One of our oldest members finally celebrated his birthday, I say finally as Mick wasn't sure if it was his birthday for the previous two weeks!!! Just hope I am as fit as Mick when I am 26.... (maths was never a strong point). Happy Birthday Mick fro all at WWCC.

After Mick and the rest of us had finished at The 'Wagon' we set of on our journey home from Retford, through Barnby Moor, Ranskill, Blyth and back into Worksop.

A nice steady ride averaging around 15-16mph with an approx. elevation of around 1500ft.

Thanks to all who came out on the ride, don't forget next week is a 'Free Week' when both The Tom Simpson Memorial Ride and The Big Red Ride take place. If your doing either ride safe and enjoy!
