This weeks club ride was out to Newmillerdam and what a great turn out it was in cool, dry but sunny conditions, with around a dozen riders heading of from The Palms.

This was due to be the 'toughest' ride elevation ride that we've done so far this year as a group with around 3500ft of climbing over a distance of around 75 miles.

We set off out towards Langold, Oldcotes, Old Edlington, Sprotbrough on upto Hooton Pagnell, South Hiendley and onto the cafe at Newmillerdam. A great cafe that is more than welcoming and provided the group with a much needed refreshment stop before heading back home.

The route home was pretty much the reverse route with a couple of deviations to take in some different roads.
